Terms of Service
Last updated: September 17, 2026
These terms explain the GrandSherpa text notification program and what to expect when you opt in.
Text START to (412) 981-1160 to opt in. Text STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
1. About the program
GrandSherpa sends automated transactional alerts, system notifications, and verification codes from our development application. These messages relate to your interactions with the application and system-triggered events. This program is not for marketing or promotional messages.
The conversations and help topics on this website are illustrative examples. Viewing or selecting an example does not enroll you in the SMS program.
2. Opting in
By texting START to (412) 981-1160, you explicitly opt in to receive GrandSherpa’s automated SMS messages at the number you use and agree to these messaging terms. Only enroll a number you own or are authorized to use. You may withdraw your consent at any time.
3. Message frequency and charges
Message frequency varies based on your interaction with the application and system triggers. There is no fixed messaging schedule.
Message and data rates may apply to messages sent to you by GrandSherpa and to messages you send to us. For questions about your text or data plan, contact your wireless provider.
4. Cancelling and opting out
You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to a GrandSherpa message or texting STOP to (412) 981-1160.
After you send STOP, we will send one SMS confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. You will not receive further program messages unless you explicitly opt in again. To rejoin, text START to the same number.
5. Help and support
If you experience issues with the messaging program, reply HELP to a GrandSherpa message or text HELP to (412) 981-1160 for assistance.
6. Delivery and service limitations
Message delivery depends on your mobile carrier, network availability, and your device. Messages may be delayed or may not arrive. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
GrandSherpa is not an emergency service. Do not rely on its messages for emergency assistance or time-critical safety decisions. The website’s example guidance does not guarantee that every scam or technical problem will be identified.
7. Using the service responsibly
Do not use the program for unlawful activity, enroll someone else without authorization, or attempt to disrupt the service. Keep passwords and verification codes private. Enter a verification code only in the application or service for which you requested it.
8. Your privacy
Our Privacy policy explains how we collect and use mobile numbers and describes our protections for mobile information, text messaging opt-in data, and consent. Please read it alongside these terms.
9. Updates to these terms
We may update these terms as the program changes. The latest version and its update date will appear on this page. Changes to these terms do not expand your SMS consent to new message purposes; any required new consent must be obtained separately.
Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
